What you need to know to keep your skin healthy is that after depilating with non-strip wax, you should avoid at all costs putting alcohol or aluminium on your skin. In fact, as the pores are open (hair is normally the skin's natural defence against aggression) the products penetrate much deeper into the dermis and can cause damage! So only natural products are applied. To remove the wax residue, an oil is used, or in the case of traditional wax, it can be rinsed off with water.
