On the other hand, if you have a few visible veins or dark circles to hide, the stick will allow you to camouflage these undesirables in a single application, without plastering your face. Stick foundation can be used on almost all skin types, as long as you choose the right formula: moisturising for dry to normal skin and mattifying for skin with a tendency to be plump.

You don't need to be a makeup school graduate to apply Paint stick foundation properly. On clean, moisturized skin, draw several lines of product on the areas you want to even out, including the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks. Then, using a foundation brush, sponge, or fingers, stretch the product over the entire face. If some imperfections or redness are still visible after this first application, it can be used as a concealer by taking a little product with a small brush or the tip of your finger and dabbing it directly on the small annoyances of the skin. Once the complexion is even, a veil of powder will fix the make-up for the whole day.
